Chief Executive Officer & Board Member
Mark brings a wealth of experience from senior executive management roles at some of the world’s leading global businesses. Mark was until very recently an executive committee member at The Adecco Group, the HR services industry leader where he held various roles including those of Chief HR Officer and Head of Northern Europe. Before joining The Adecco Group, Mark held executive positions in sales, operations and general management at Apple, Citibank and Scoot in Europe. Mark graduated as a Commercial Engineer from Solvay Business School (Brussels) and completed executive programs at Harvard Business School, INSEAD and the London Business School.
Non-Executive Chairman & Board Member
Jens has over 25 years of direct tech and non-tech investment experience across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has founded over 20 companies, led over 50 investments and served on a number of boards. He has a special passion for education where he has led iconic investments and serves on the boards of several globally leading private and public education groups, including in edtech.
Jens was previously a Partner & Managing Director at New Silk Route Growth Capital, a USD 1.3bn Private Equity fund manager focused on consumer industries in Emerging Asia. Prior to New Silk Route, he co-founded South Asia Equity Partners and before that HGU Hamburg Private Equity AG. Jens graduated from Harvard Business School and co-founded the alumni clubs in Germany and the Gulf region. He is a former professional athlete.
Non-Executive Director & Board Member
Mike is currently Chief Operations Officer, Technology & Operations at the Development Bank of Singapore Limited (DBS), one of Asia’s largest banking groups and winner of multiple awards including Global Finance’s Best Bank in the World and Euromoney’s World’s Best Digital Bank, both in 2018. Mike has over 25 years experience in Asia leading large scale operations in financial services and engineering businesses. Mike leads the ongoing digital transformation at DBS across a team of 2,000+ staff in customer service and operations. DBS is recognised by global industry peers as having one of the most comprehensive digital transformation programmes in banking, encompassing being digital to the core, journey thinking, culture change, and a methodology to quantify the financial impact of digitalisation.
Chief Legal & Commercial Officer
Anne has 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector. She spent three years post qualification as a solicitor with Slaughter and May, before moving in-house with Cantor Fitzgerald, where she was ultimately appointed Chief Operating Officer of the retail derivatives division. She held this position for five years through the challenges of the global financial crisis and the following period of intense regulatory change and scrutiny.
Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer
Tom joins the Company from Sentiance N.V. where he has been Chief Business Development Officer since 2016, focused on the Asia market. Prior to Sentiance, Tom held a number of senior commercial positions across a variety of industries and technology sectors, in both international corporate and start-up companies. Before joining Sentiance, Tom spent 11 years with Microsoft as regional business group lead in respect of multiple product lines.
SVP Technology & Operations
Michael joins the Company from Intralot S.A., a global leader in the gaming industry, where he was the Group COO responsible for global operations, the technology roadmap and the overall business growth strategy. Before Intralot, Michael worked for over 14 years at Microsoft where he held various executive international management and business strategy roles. His experience also includes working for companies like McKinsey & Company, KPMG and IBM Consulting. Michael brings a wealth of experience in building operations at a global scale and driving partnerships in fast-growing, emerging technologies and content driven businesses.
Interim Finance Director
Manjit has extensive capital markets, accounting and treasury function experience. Previously Manjit worked for 16 years at Man Financial, followed by a period as Head of Foreign Exchange and Treasury at SocGen Corporate and Investment Banking in London. Manjit is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Manjit has joined Mesh on an interim basis until 31 December 2019.
